Spigot Replacement

The homeowner wanted to replace the front spigot. While generally a straight forward project, the old Poly-B piping in the wall broke during the removal process of the old spigot. The wall was cut into and new pex pipe was fitted with copper crimp rings. The wall was patched and trim reinstalled. The new spigot was added, and the homeowner was back in business. This process took a days worth of work, this included the unexpected trip to Locke Supply. The drywall in the background of the picture shows previous signs of a water leak. The breaking of the pipe and replacement of it was inevitable, so it really turned out to be a blessing in disguise to be able to repair this all together and not have a bigger problem down the road.
